grandma

 the kitchen- it is where she should be and she will be when i visit her.
she rarely sits down with us. she is always in her kitchen. and that's the way all woman used to be in Japan. she won't change that even though women finally won the right to get out of their kitchen.
i often find her saying "i should put less sugar...," yet, her food is always a little sweet.
